Role Description

St Luke’s provides quality care and services for people with life-limiting illnesses living within the mid and south Cheshire area.  As a receptionist you are the first point of contact for anyone visiting or calling the Hospice. We are looking for someone to help on reception who will be that friendly face ready to greet our visitors with a smile.

 Tasks: 

  • Welcoming visitors
  • Dealing with general telephone enquiries
  • Accepting donations
  • Processing hospice shop sales

Skills:

  • Someone with a friendly and caring nature
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Happy to work independently
  • Reliable and able to commit to regular sessions

 Commitment needed:

Four hours 1-5pm on a Monday afternoon, fortnightly

Help provide cover for holidays and illness

Attendance for initial training and any specific training
