St Luke’s Hospice cares for people in mid & south Cheshire who are suffering from life threatening illnesses. We offer specialist treatment, care, advice and support to patients and their families. The Hospice has two trading subsidiaries, St Luke’s Hospice Trading Limited and St Luke’s Hospice Promotions Limited. Both of these companies provide significant income to the running of St Luke’s Hospice.

We are looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic individual to further strengthen our Trading and Promotions Board and help us to achieve the next phase of our development.

Non-Executive Directors are responsible for supporting good governance, strategic direction and financial oversight of the Trading and Promotions Companies alongside the current Directors of the companies.

If you have passion for the charity sector, have relevant retail experience at a commercial and/or strategic level or involvement in charitable fundraising and would like to make a positive contribution to the work we do, then we would love to hear from you.

 Non-Executive Directors are expected to attend our Trading and Promotions Board Meetings which are held late afternoon, bi-monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at the Hospice. Non-Executive Director Positions are un-remunerated although reasonable expenses will be paid. This role offers great scope for professional development, exposure at Board level and the opportunity to support the development our subsidiary companies.

Appointments will be offered subject to standard checks including satisfactory references and DBS check.
