Role Description

St Luke’s has an amazing team of volunteers who work in a variety of roles within the Hospice and in our shops and warehouse.  We are looking for someone to help with general administration duties to support the Volunteer Coordinator.


  • Making telephone calls
  • Arranging volunteer appointments
  • Maintaining/updating of volunteer records
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Sending letters and relevant paperwork to volunteers
  • Dealing with general volunteer enquiries


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Recent experience of working in a busy office environment

Commitment needed:          

A minimum of 5 hours per week (not Fridays) and attendance for any role specific training
