The Harlequin Theatre, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 5JN 25/02/2020 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The Northwich Harlequin Theatre is performing ‘The Government Inspector’ and have kindly dedicated their Tuesday 25th February 2020 show to St Luke’s Hospice.

The Government Inspector is directed by Malcolm Barker who is no stranger to the Harlequins. Barker brings you one of the most famous comedies in world theatre, Gogol’s masterpiece ‘The Government Inspector’ which depicts corruption in a small Russian town. However, when the powers that be learn they’re going to be subject to an undercover government inspection they panic, mistaking a penniless nobody for the powerful official. In this comedy of errors, they all fall victim to their own stupidity and greed, leading to guaranteed hilarity! In this new translation, award-winning Satirist Alistair Beaton brings to life its dazzling blend of preposterous characters and all-too-real situations for a night you don’t want to miss!

Please join us on Tuesday 25th February for The Harlequin Theatres rendition of ‘The Government Inspector’ with proceeds going towards St Luke’s Hospice. Doors open at 7:45pm, tickets £10 per person.
