Christmas Tree Collection 2024

Our tree collection has been running now for 12 years and we have collected 27,983 trees in that time and have raised a fabulous £430,081 with the average donation received of £15.78 per tree.

It really is a ‘win win’ situation

• You get your tree picked up and avoid pine needles in the car, time queuing at the tip and diesel costs.
• Your tree is collected by volunteers who give their time and own vehicles to enable the tree collection to go ahead so give them a cheery wave if you see them on the day. They are pretty amazing and work whatever the weather.
• Your Christmas tree is responsibly chipped and the chippings shared around the community creating mulch to supress weeds without the need for weedkillers so it’s a green and environmentally friendly end for your gorgeous tree.
• Finally your donation for the service supports the work of St Luke’s enabling us to continue to support patients.
