Introducing our most straight-forward, easy-to-follow fundraising event to date!
On Thursday 14th November 2019, we are staging our very first ‘Bring £1 to Work Day’, open to all businesses across Mid and South Cheshire.
It’s so easy to get involved – and it only costs £1. This is how it works:
1. Register your workplace
2. Ask all of your colleagues to bring in £1
3. On Thursday 14th November, we will collect your donations from your workplace
It really is that simple! Our dream is to get 100 local businesses on board, and by coming together you will be investing in the future of St Luke’s Hospice.
Whether you are in a team of 2, 20 or 200 – we would love you to be part of it.
Signing up could not be easier. Simply let us know that you are interested, and we will send you a Bring £1 to Work Day pack, including a couple of posters, copies of our newsletter and a collection envelope.
Why ‘Bring £1 to Work Day’?
For over 30 years, St Luke’s has relied on the great generosity of local businesses and their staff to help maintain our vital care support services for local people.
But we also recognise that local businesses are really busy these days and can’t always find the time to organise events and partake in challenges. So with that in mind, we have launched possibly our simplest, most affordable fundraising campaign to date!
We would also like to share your involvement on our social media channels, to help drive momentum and encourage other businesses to sign up.
What happens to all the £1s?
We would like all of your staff to ‘bring £1 to work’ on Thursday 14th November. During the day our teams of volunteers will be out and about across the area collecting in all of those £1s – which will go direct to patient care at St Luke’s.
By signing up to Bring £1 to Work Day, you won’t be on your own. Through our social media channels and local press coverage, we hope to grow this campaign quickly and attract businesses of all shapes and sizes – after all, there is no limit to which businesses, or how many businesses, can get involved.
