Welcome to possibly the most straightforward activity we’ve ever staged. We are looking for 100 people to complete 100K in March. Could you be one of our heroic hundred?
How does it work?
‘100K your way’ is our ‘no pressure’ fitness challenge. YOU are totally in control, choosing WHERE, WHEN and HOW you run / walk the 100K. All that we ask is that you complete 100 Kilometres within the month of March.
It really is our ‘no pressure’ challenge:
NO registration fee
NO minimum fundraising target
FREE St Luke’s T-shirt!
Let’s do this!
We first staged 100k your way in February and right now over 100 local people are getting on with their challenge. From the feedback we’ve had, it is proving the perfect excuse to get some quality fresh air, get the muscles moving and raise funds for patient care at St Luke’s.
Plus, the great thing is that under the current COVID restrictions, you are allowed to exercise locally, on your own or with the people you live with or those within your bubble – so this is the perfectly practical way of staying fit and staying safe.
Do it YOUR way…
How you break down the 100K across March is your call. Here’s a few ideas of what the St Luke’s staff are planning:
Plan your routes
There are some great ways to help you with ‘100K your way’ – and some of them won’t cost you a penny! There are several FREE apps available to download (eg Strava) on to your phone, which will map your run and calculate your distance as you go.
Fundraise for us
100K your way is certainly no mean feat and we’d like to encourage you to fundraise for St Luke’s where you can. You can set up a justgiving page or launch your own facebook fundraiser. If you need any help on this just let us know.
Get your FREE T-shirt!
Your T-shirt will be hand-delivered within days of receiving this email. If you don’t receive your T-shirt before 1st March, don’t worry, you can still start your activity and your T-shirt WILL be with you soon!
Thank you so much for supporting St Luke’s and all the best with doing ‘100K your way’
