HOURS: 22.5 (3 days) worked on a rota across two sites Grosvenor House and Winterley Grange

SALARY: £27,637.75 to £37,014.53 per annum/pro rata

RESPONSIBLE TO: Day Hospice Manager

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Director of Care/Matron

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Day Hospice.

The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist palliative and end of life care to patients and their families accessing our Day Hospice.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years post registration experience in supportive and palliative care, and must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities.

You will be dynamic, enthusiastic and be able to motivate, inspire and lead the day hospice service which currently includes qualified nurses, therapists, volunteers and going forward allied health professionals.

We are looking for someone with a caring and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and build relationships with patients, staff and supporters.
