HOURS: 28hrs/ on a rota 4 days across the Trading Week, Mon – Sun

SALARY: £16,719 per annum/pro rata (£9.16 per hour)

REPORTS TO: Retail Area Manager

We are recruiting for a Retail Sales Manager to manage our high performing Charity Shop in Hartford.

Our trading business is an important part of the income generation and fundraising department and plays a vital role in working in and with our community to ensure we can support the fantastic work carried out at the Hospice.

You will have experience of the charity retail sector at unit manager level with knowledge of how a busy charity unit works and bring the skills required to move what is already a busy profitable unit to the next level.

You will work closely with the Area Manager and will focus on sales as well as stock generation and ensuring that every opportunity is taken to ensure our targets are met.

You will manage a large group of volunteers so leadership and people skills are an important skill that will be vital in your success.

Previous knowledge of Gift Aid and Epos till systems would be an advantage.

As unit Sales Manager you will be part of the trading team and will work alongside other team members across trading to help and support the work of the hospice.
